About

Cynthia Reeh, global health editorMy name is Cynthia Reeh, owner of Ceree Editing, LLC. I have more than 16 years of experience in technical editing, copyediting, and writing, including scientific reports, technical documents, corporate materials, health care information, and books. I help companies and individuals create clear and compelling publications for global audiences. In particular, I specialize in supporting global nonprofit organizations, helping them to publish communication materials and long, complex documents under a wide range of conditions, specifications, budgets, and deadlines. I help clients clarify their ideas and turn their manuscripts into final print, with top-notch service, humor, and patience.

The thrill of polishing information to make it easier to read is what drives me as an editor. This polishing can include correcting errors, untangling tricky sentences, identifying gaps in logic, ensuring consistency, and improving the presentation.

In 2003, I received my master’s degree from the George Washington University in international development studies, focusing on public health. In 2010, I completed an editing certificate program at the University of Washington and started my career as a freelance editor.

I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, the American Copy Editors Society, and the Northwest Independent Editors Guild.
